I had a half day at work today so I ate lunch near my house. This is my current food obsession, a Tibetan food item called La Phing. It’s cubes of this agar like mung bean extract soaked in the best sauce I can’t figure out, some combo of chiles, chives, cilantro, vinegar, soy, sesame oil and magic. This is from Top Cafe Tibet on Cortelyou Road.
