Editor and ASSISTANT EDITOR

In Fall 2017, I left behind a decade long career as a multidisciplinary new media producer to pursue a new career doing what I love most — editing film. I started my editing journey at The Edit Center in Brooklyn, and have been building my skills and portfolio through jobs as both editor and assistant editor for creative documentaries ever since, working on projects for HBO and landing a film at SXSW. I most recently co-edited my first doc feature, Between Life & Death: Terri Schiavo’s Story, which is doing a festival run and will have a broadcast premiere on NBC/peacock in the future. I strive to tell stories that have impact and resonate with audiences long after the first viewing.

Prior to my current career in editing, I created new media content and digital products in the news, documentary, and branded content space. I have produced large scale projects for Guardian News & Media, PBS, WNET, Time Out New York, The Daily, and Storyful as well as offered freelance writing and consultation services to NBC Universal and various creative agencies. My hands-on approach to creative production allows me to work nimbly with creative teams to efficiently create high quality experiences for any audience.

I have also curated and moderated industry events for the Producer's Guild of America and New York Film Festival that cover documentary production and new media strategies, led the Producer’s Guild “First Look: screening series from 2017-2018, and continue to be an active participant in the screening program committee.
